Sports Therapy Center

Exercise counselling and training

As a rule, physical activity is possible, safe and recommended at every stage of cancer and, according to scientific studies, has numerous positive effects on the body and psyche during and after cancer treatment.

We recommend at least 3x30 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise per week, plus strength exercises twice a week and, if possible, daily stretching of the main muscles. A prerequisite for this, however, is that you consult the medical specialists in charge of your treatment beforehand and are supervised by trained sports therapists and physiotherapists.

Basically, any exercise is better than none - this also includes everyday activities such as longer walks.

Sometimes it is not easy to motivate yourself. We are happy to support you on your journey to a physically active life!
