Pediatric Oncology Center

Pediatric Hematology and Oncology is a specialized field within Pediatrics that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of children and adolescents with cancer. In Germany, these patients, aged 0 to 18 years, are treated according to the guidelines of the Society for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology.

Oncological diseases in childhood and adolescence are always a challenge for all involved due to the complexity of the disease profiles and the patients being in various stages of development. For the best possible treatment concepts, interdisciplinary collaboration is necessary, involving all medical specialties within Pediatrics as well as other oncological disciplines. Regular exchange among all relevant disciplines takes place in tumor conferences and case discussions.

Our goal is to offer our young patients optimal diagnostics, the best possible treatment, and follow-up care. The well-being and quality of life of the affected individuals and their families are our focus. This includes supportive and therapy-accompanying measures.

Below, you will find detailed information about our services, contact options, consultations, and our pediatric oncology tumor board.
