A cancer diagnosis is often experienced as a shock by both the person affected and their relatives. This can be accompanied by various emotions such as worries, fears and also sadness, which can be very challenging for those affected (and their relatives).
Many affected persons describe the worry that they could burden their relatives too much with their own fears/feelings. For this reason, we are happy to offer professional help as part of our psycho-oncology service. In addition to relieving conversations, we are also available for consultations on how to deal with cancer and the resulting demands.
