NCT/UCC Dresden Call: Masterclass 2027

NCT/UCC Dresden opens a call for Masterclass 2027 for clinical/medical trialists with an oncology background who are in the early to mid-stage of their careers and seek targeted qualifications in academically driven, translational clinical studies in oncology.

The NCT has established this intensive qualification course, held for the second time in 2027, to bring together participants from all NCT locations, the DKTK, and leading oncology centers outside the NCT. The Masterclass focuses on competence building in the design and implementation of innovative patient-centered, high-quality, translational clinical studies in cancer medicine. The course offers a structured training platform with support from experienced experts for the development or finalizing of a study protocol, with the perspective of submission in the NCT Overarching Clinical Translational Trial (OCT2) program. The training includes aspects such as case number estimation, feasibility analysis, and budget calculation. In addition, the course aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange and enable nationwide networking among research-oriented physicians. Initial details about the content of the Masterclass 2027 can be found here.

The Masterclass 2027 will take place from January 18-22, 2027, at the Hotel Kaiserhof in Eisenach. In addition to the in-person sessions, there will be short virtual events in advance, including an initial meet-and-greet and selected specialist presentations. The aim is to enable participants to interact with each other for the first time and build a common knowledge base already prior to the course.
